Around the farm

We moved to the farm back in 1999 when there was nothing on the land except for trees grass and dog fennel! In 2001 we built our first structure way out in the field that we called the goat shed. It was always our dream to have goats. But little did we know that it was going to take 13 years to get them, and that when we did; there was no way we were going to let our babies sleep out in the open!

We had chickens, ducks, geese, guineas and turkeys for the first years and were perfectly happy raising chicks, poults and Keets! But we knew we just couldn't call this a farm if we didn't have something furry in the barn!

We added the barn in 2012 which used to house chickens, ducks and goats until we realized they don't go well together!

Does and bucks get to graze in nice big pastures and plenty of brush and trees. Did I mention, they can free range the front yard also!

Buck barn in the background was added in 2016.

The Farm store was added in 2015, but is closed for now ( along with the garden)  until we get the goats situated!

We hope we have created a relaxing place where those who visit us feel at home and want to come back!
